
Wire rope grip type POWERTEX is approved for lifting only if assembly is carried out according to the instruction manual.
The wire rope grips are designed for use with six-stranded right-hand lay ropes in 6x19 (M) and 6x36 classes and right-hand ordinary lay wire rope in 8x19 class up to 1960 N/mm², with fibre core and a steel core.
Correctly mounted the assembly will withstand 80% of the rope’s minimum breaking load (MBL).

- Warning: Not to be used with compacted, hammered or plastic coated steel wire ropes. It is not recommended to use plastic covered ropes for lifting purposes with wire rope grips.
